What is the Episcopal Academy

The Academy

The Episcopal Academy

Forming Leaders. Strengthening the Church. Advancing the Kingdom.

The Episcopal Academy is a non‑resident school of theology and episcopal order committed to equipping Bishops, Apostles, Overseers, Adjutants & Armorbearers, Elders, and Deacons for ordained, consecrated, affirmed, and appointed service in the Church. We prepare today’s clerics for tomorrow’s Kingdom work.

Certification Programs Designed for Real Ministry

Our Certification in Episcopal Studies includes:

  • The Bishops Academy
  • The Overseers Academy
  • Apostles & Prophets Academy
  • Elders Academy
  • Deacons Academy
  • Adjutant & Armor Bearers Academy
  • Kingdom Academy
  • School of Theology and Ministry

We recognize that ministry is not one‑size‑fits‑all. Our programs are intentionally flexible and crafted to serve clerics in urban, suburban, rural, and international contexts. Every course is designed to meet students where they are and prepare them for what God has called them to do.

Faculty Who Understand the Call

Our leadership and instructors are active ministry professionals—rooted in Scripture, seasoned by real church experience, and academically trained. They bring theological depth and practical wisdom, offering mentorship that strengthens character, calling, and competence.

A Servant to the Church

As an independent, biblically grounded educational ministry, The Episcopal Academy partners with both local churches and individual clerics. We provide curriculum, consultation, and direction that support each student’s unique path toward effective, Spirit‑led leadership.

If you want, I can also format this into a homepage hero section, an “About Us” page, or a brochure‑style layout.

The Episcopal Academy offers both on‑campus classroom instruction and fully digital online learning. Students may complete their academic training either in person on our campus or from the comfort of their own homes. Our V.Z.C.R. (Virtual Zoom Classroom Rooms) provide a state‑of‑the‑art learning environment with real‑time access to instructional videos, PowerPoint presentations, and interactive breakout rooms. All Academy programs operate within a secure digital ecosystem protected by Apple Security.

BISHOP'S & OVERSEER'S ACADEMY

BISHOP'S & OVERSEER'S ACADEMY

The Bishop’s & Overseer’s Academies

The Bishop’s and Overseer’s Academies are designed for Bishop‑Designates, Consecrated Bishops, Affirmed Apostles, and appointed Overseer‑Designates who require formal theological and practical training in the Episcopacy. Because Overseers are charged with overseeing the work, vision, and execution of the Primate, their formation parallels that of the Bishopric; therefore, both groups train together in a unified curriculum.

This Academy is a 48‑hour intensive, offered in‑person or online, featuring a catechism for Bishops and a comprehensive certification exam for Overseers.

Course Topics

  • History of the Episcopacy
  • The Apostolic Fathers
  • Apostolic Succession
  • Historical Foundations of the Overseer
  • Etymology of “Bishop”
  • From Apostles to Bishops
  • Distinctions Between Apostles & Bishops
  • Code of Conduct of the Episcopacy
  • Pontifical / Levitical Vestments

Welcome to the Kingdom Acdemy

What is the Kingdom Academy?

The Kingdom Academy is the Embassy’s center for ideological and theological formation—the place where Kingdom identity, doctrine, and worldview are shaped. It serves as the bridge between calling and true Kingdom understanding.between revelation (Spirit) and application (government & leadership).

It is not just another academy—it is the Kingdom framework that governs how everything  else is interpreted.

Kingdom Formation •

 The Kingdom Academy

  • Shapes how believers think, see, and function
  •  Restores original identity (Genesis dominion perspective)
  • Teaches relationship, not religion.
  • Teaches citizenship, not Membership

This is where people learn:  “How Heaven thinks, how the Kingdom operates, and how we represent it on Earth.” .

Leadership Development

Trains leaders to function in:

  • Authority  ◦
  • Stewardship
  • Influence

Prepares individuals for deployment into other academies and offices.  It produces Kingdom-minded leaders, not just ministry minded ministers.

Government & Structure Alignment

 Aligns all academies under:

  • Kingdom principles
  • Divine order

Ensures everything flows from the Kingdom → not tradition, not denomination

Adjutant & Armor Bearer Corps Training

This course provides a thorough examination of the Adjutant Corps and the Armor Bearer Corps, offering a clear understanding of the Adjutant’s role with particular emphasis on the spiritual and practical ministry of the Armor Bearer. The program equips anointed men and women with the spiritual discipline, technical skill, and ministerial expertise required to faithfully protect, assist, and uphold the leadership of the Body of Christ.

This course introduces clerics to the biblical and historical foundations of these ministries, their purpose, and the standards of service expected of those who assist ecclesiastical leaders. Students are trained to serve with humility, discretion, proper motive, and spiritual maturity.

Deacon Training

The restoration of the diaconate as a permanent ministry within the wider Church—after centuries of decline and significant distortion of its original purpose—has rightly been recognized as “a great and visible sign of the working of the Holy Spirit.” Across recent decades, scholars and church leaders have written extensively on the essential identity, role, and ministry of the permanent deacon in the life of the Church. There is no question that this restoration has brought profound grace and blessing to the Ecclesia.

The Episcopal Academy is committed to recovering and re‑establishing this vital teaching so that the Church may once again fully benefit from the ministry of the permanent diaconate. By grounding students in Scripture, history, ecclesiology, and practical formation, the Academy seeks to ensure that the diaconate is understood and embraced as a true kingdom office—one instituted by God for service, proclamation, and the building up of the Body of Christ.

Course Topics

  • The biblical and historical foundations of the permanent diaconate
  • The essential identity of the permanent deacon in the universal Church
  • The role of the permanent deacon in the local church, dioceses, and the National and International Reformation
  • Qualifications and spiritual qualities required of candidates for the permanent diaconate
  • The formation process for permanent deacons
  • Contemporary issues and challenges arising from the lived experience of the permanent diaconate
