The big day may have come and gone, but keep in touch as we’re always up to something new and exciting.
Forming Leaders. Strengthening the Church. Advancing the Kingdom.
The Episcopal Academy is a non‑resident school of theology and episcopal order committed to equipping Bishops, Apostles, Overseers, Adjutants & Armorbearers, Elders, and Deacons for ordained, consecrated, affirmed, and appointed service in the Church. We prepare today’s clerics for tomorrow’s Kingdom work.
Our Certification in Episcopal Studies includes:
We recognize that ministry is not one‑size‑fits‑all. Our programs are intentionally flexible and crafted to serve clerics in urban, suburban, rural, and international contexts. Every course is designed to meet students where they are and prepare them for what God has called them to do.
Our leadership and instructors are active ministry professionals—rooted in Scripture, seasoned by real church experience, and academically trained. They bring theological depth and practical wisdom, offering mentorship that strengthens character, calling, and competence.
As an independent, biblically grounded educational ministry, The Episcopal Academy partners with both local churches and individual clerics. We provide curriculum, consultation, and direction that support each student’s unique path toward effective, Spirit‑led leadership.

The Episcopal Academy offers both on‑campus classroom instruction and fully digital online learning. Students may complete their academic training either in person on our campus or from the comfort of their own homes. Our V.Z.C.R. (Virtual Zoom Classroom Rooms) provide a state‑of‑the‑art learning environment with real‑time access to instructional videos, PowerPoint presentations, and interactive breakout rooms. All Academy programs operate within a secure digital ecosystem protected by Apple Security.

The Bishop’s and Overseer’s Academies are designed for Bishop‑Designates, Consecrated Bishops, Affirmed Apostles, and appointed Overseer‑Designates who require formal theological and practical training in the Episcopacy. Because Overseers are charged with overseeing the work, vision, and execution of the Primate, their formation parallels that of the Bishopric; therefore, both groups train together in a unified curriculum.
This Academy is a 48‑hour intensive, offered in‑person or online, featuring a catechism for Bishops and a comprehensive certification exam for Overseers.

Adjutant & Armor Bearer Corps Training
This course provides a thorough examination of the Adjutant Corps and the Armor Bearer Corps, offering a clear understanding of the Adjutant’s role with particular emphasis on the spiritual and practical ministry of the Armor Bearer. The program equips anointed men and women with the spiritual discipline, technical skill, and ministerial expertise required to faithfully protect, assist, and uphold the leadership of the Body of Christ.
Adjutants and Armor Bearers play a vital role in ensuring that the office of the Bishop functions with excellence, dignity, and administrative integrity. This course introduces clerics to the biblical and historical foundations of these ministries, their purpose, and the standards of service expected of those who assist ecclesiastical leaders. Students are trained to serve with humility, discretion, proper motive, and spiritual maturity.
Instruction also includes orientation in ecclesiastical attire, vestments, and ceremonial protocol, including the proper conduct of a bishop’s consecration.
This program is a 48‑Hour Intensive, offered online, and concludes with a comprehensive certification exam.

Deacon Training
The restoration of the diaconate as a permanent ministry within the wider Church—after centuries of decline and significant distortion of its original purpose—has rightly been recognized as “a great and visible sign of the working of the Holy Spirit.” Across recent decades, scholars and church leaders have written extensively on the essential identity, role, and ministry of the permanent deacon in the life of the Church. There is no question that this restoration has brought profound grace and blessing to the Ecclesia.
The Episcopal Academy is committed to recovering and re‑establishing this vital teaching so that the Church may once again fully benefit from the ministry of the permanent diaconate. By grounding students in Scripture, history, ecclesiology, and practical formation, the Academy seeks to ensure that the diaconate is understood and embraced as a true kingdom office—one instituted by God for service, proclamation, and the building up of the Body of Christ.

Apostles are more than prolific preachers!
Their calling is measured not by the number of sermons they preach, but by the lasting spiritual order, maturity, and Kingdom culture they leave behind.
