BISHOP'S & OVERSEER'S ACADEMY

 The Episcopal Academy is a non-resident school of theology and episcopal order for Bishops', Apostles, Overseers, Adjutants, Armor bearers, Elders, and Deacons, who are aspiring for the episcopal ordained, consecrated, affirmed, and appointed offices of the Church.  

The Bishop's and Overseer's Academies is for Bishop Designates, Consecrated Bishop's, Affirmed Apostles and appointed Overseer Designates who need formal and theological training in the Episcopacy. 

We combine the Overseer's with the Bishop's training because the information and training is essentially the same in that Overseer's oversee the work and vision of the Primate and must execute the office the same as his appointing visionary. 

This Academy is a 48 Hour Virtual Zoom Classroom intensive with a catechism for Bishop's and a comprehensive certified exam for Overseer's.

ZOOM CLASSROOM: EVERY MONDAY 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM

 
Course Topics: History of the Episcopacy, Apostolic Father, Apostolic Succession, Historical Foundation of the Overseer, Etymology of Bishop, From Apostle's to Bishop's, The Difference between Apostle's & Bishop's, Code of Conduct of the Episcopacy, Episcopal Ethics, Pontifical (Levitical Vestments)

Bishops Catechism & Overseer Certified Exam with Commencement Service:

All Bishop Designees who will be catechized must wear proper Civic Attire for their catechism.

COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY & CONGRESS 2023

We ask all Bishop Designees that will participate in the Commencement Service to wear the Shepard's Cassock: Black Cassock with Gold Piping with Black & Gold Censure. 

Overseer Designees please wear the Presiding Elder Cassock: Black Cassock with White Piping & white Censure.

*All Bishops, Apostles & Overseers, please wear your highest celebratory garment.
